Advisory Committee

SAMSS is led by Fitzhugh Mullan, MD and Seble Frehywot, MD, MHSA of the Department of Health Policy at the George Washington University. The GW-based team serves as the Secretariat to the project and works in consultation with an Advisory Committee co-chaired by Dr. Francis Omaswa, Executive Director of the African Centre for Global Health and Social Transformation (ACHEST) and former Executive Director of the World Health Organization Global Health Workforce Alliance (GHWA). SAMSS has an Advisory Committee comprised of two Co-Chairs (Drs. Omaswa and Mullan) and 15 Advisory Committee Members (ten of whom represent medical schools that will be site visited.) The Committee members will participate in all aspects of the study.
